Vote for D.C.’s own Chef John Critchley!

by Jenna on September 12, 2012

Lamb Jam celebrated its second year in Washington this year with a competition of 18 local chefs battling out for the best lamb dish, sponsored by the American Lamb Board. I had the honor of being a judge at the 2011 Lamb Jam and it was by far one of the most fun food events I have been to in years. The chefs were spirited and competitive, the dishes were all top-notch, and the attendees were passionate about their lamb! For the second year in a row Chef John Critchley of Urbana won Best in Show, and this year’s dish was a Lamb Leg Pupusa with Queso Blanco and Lamb Tongue Curtido. Chef Critchley is now off to the Lamb Jam Finale on September 30th in San Luis Obispo where he will compete with other regional winners for the title of Lamb Jam Master. Help our hometown Chef win People’s Choice Lamb Jam Master by voting online for his dish here: http://fansoflamb.com/lamb-jam-masters/. The polls are open through September 26th and the Peoples’ Choice winner will be announced on September 30th at the competition finale.
